Contribution to asnaf in conjunction with Malaysia Day

YAYASAN Ikhlas is once again involved in donating to the 2022 Independence Convoy program held around Kuching, Sarawak.
This program aims to distribute donations to the asnaf group as well as the orphan group which will last for two days from 15 to 16 September 2022.
On September 16 recently, several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) visited Kampung Jangkar, Lundu Sarawak to implement assistance to share sustenance with the asnaf group.
In addition, the Yayasan Ikhlas Kuching branch also donated 20 bags of rice and 20 packs of necessities to be given to the poor. In addition to Yayasan Ikhlas, there are also contributions from Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) and Persatuan Musa’adeen shared in donating several bags of rice and necessities for them.
After the officers of Yayasan Ikhlas, YADIM, and Persatuan Musa’adeen finished performing Friday prayers, they continued their journey to the next village which is Kampung Biawak located in Lundu. In the village, a total of 40 people from the asnaf group were also given the same contribution as in Kampung Jangkar. Donations in the form of rice and also the basic food needs were donated by Yayasan Ikhlas and the Musa’adeen Kuching Association. In the village, YADIM Sarawak also donated several sets of fans that will be given to Kampung Biawak Surau.
After giving assistance and greeting the residents of the Lundu District Village, the group of Yayasan Ikhlas officers then left for Telok Melano Village, in the Sematan district. In this village, the officers of Yayasan Ikhlas also assisted in the form of bags of rice and also food packs for their basic needs.
Yayasan Ikhlas would like to thank everyone involved. Hopefully, with this small donation and help, it can bring smiles to those who are less fortunate. We hope that this noble effort can continue in the future.
