Prof. Dr. Azmi B. Md Nor is a distinguished Professor of Surgery and Senior Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with extensive expertise in general and colorectal surgery, particularly in colorectal cancer, fistula-in-ano, haemorrhoids, and pelvic floor disorders. He previously served as Dean of the Kulliyyah of Medicine and Campus Director at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and obtained his Master of Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), before completing Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery in Adelaide, Australia. His contributions include research in AI-assisted colonoscopy, surgical education, and colorectal innovation, earning recognitions such as the Excellent Service Award and Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP).
