Kampung Bukit Batu, Sik, Kedah (Tabung Haji)
This tube well project successfully united three villages – Kampung Bukit Batu, Kampung Bukit Berangan and Kampung Kubang – with the full support of the residents.
Groundwater is channeled to 145 houses through a 4.5 km pipeline installed through a gotong-royong initiative with Yayasan Ikhlas, Persatuan Anak-Anak Sik, the village committee and the local community. The main tank with a capacity of 51,756 liters, ensures a water supply for 309 hours or 13 days a month.
